We went for our 36 week ultrasound on Thursday; but no pictures because Kara was to big to get a good one. The reason for the ultrasound was to figure out how big she is- well I was 36 weeks and 5 days on Thursday; she measured at 39weeks and 3days; at approx 9lbs. The tech said that there was a chance that she could put on at least 2 more lbs before my due date if they continue to let me go all the way. We have our usual appointment on Monday; and I hoping that Dr. Gatt will give us the good news with a induction date; even though my husband thinks that they may choose a C-Section vs. the induction based purely on her size.
Jenna is doing well. She seems to completely understand what's going with Kara. We'll drop her off at my parents house; for our Dr. appointments and she'll say things like .."Are you going to the hospital to get that baby out yet?" She's excited; but I am even more excited to see her reaction to having another princess in her castle. For the past 37 or so months both mine & brians world has revolved around her. But my fear of jealously isn't with Brian and myself; but with the grandparents.
All bags are packed; the car seat is loaded and ready we just need a day and time for Kara to get here. Keep checking back- hope to update with more delievery details on Monday
