Happy 1st Birthday Kara Jean

Dear Kara Jean;

As I sit here; watching you get into EVERYTHING I can't help but smile. I can't beleive the baby I waited for all those months, watched my sugar and poked myself for, visited the dr. twice a week for is already a year old today. Your so beautiful and smart and getting more every day. You are too little to understand just how much me and daddy love you but we do. You have filled our home with smiles and baby giggles and such joy. Your big sister Jenna loves you so much and the two of you have bonded and now that you are mobile you guys are starting to interact more. I have thought back all day today to a year ago. I was still in Post-Opt situation, unable to leave the bed, and still hooked up to IV's. But the one thing I could do was hold you. And boy did I. I remember the nurse telling me how sweet it was to walk in and see you on my shoulder and me rubbing your little head. Yesterday morning, you feel asleep in my arms laying in me and daddy's bed and I just wanted to capture that moment forever. I love you sweet little girl and I hope that when you are older you will realize just how much I do. Happy 1st Birthday baby girl!!
