**This has been an exciting few weeks for Miss Thing AKA Kara around our house. It all started with the development of her 1st tooth.. the lower right one (so very cute); full fledge crawling, on hands and knees with tummy completely off the ground, that girl can move; especially when she wants to get into something..its just not fair you shouldn't be mobile until you can completely understand the word "NO". And our latest development is the pulling to a stand. So the girl who was a great sleeper; not only was she a great sleeper she RULED at sleeping, has decided there are more fun things to be done than sleeping, so in the past couple of days going down to 1 maybe 2 naps..and getting overly tired... I am hoping that the sleep thing is a result of her shots (2 on Monday Flu & Immunization shot) and getting the other tooth rather than a change to the dark side.
On Saturday with family friends we adventured out and took the 1-2hr drive to Frankenmuth MI for a day of "Spaß" or "fun". The girls had a great time, I don't think we heard a peep out of Kara the entire day; she slept and observed. Jenna on the other hand had a ball, we went into a mirror maze; rode on bumper cars; and took a horse drawn carriage around town. She enjoyed her day; and asked to return soon. While we didn't get far into town, we did manage to get fudge; popcorn; and taffy to bring home. On the way home, we made a quick stop by Bronners for those who don't know, Bronners is the World LARGEST Christmas Store- where Christmas is celebrated all year around. Due to the time we got to Bronners it was decided that Brian & Kara would stay in the car, and it was a quick in and out trip for Jenna, Myself, Dave and Kerry.
