Happy 2nd Birthday

BACK!!!

We are still around I promise!! I know its been about six months since I updated, and I must apologize. But I am back now!!!! Kara is turning three in a week from today, so I am sure there will be updates.

Happy Halloween...

The girls had a great Halloween, here are some pictures and a video. Both girls were butterflies this year...and cute as ever!! Again this year we trick or treated at Brian's' parents neighborhood. Afterward Mamaw treated us to some pizza and breadsticks. We missed Papaw..he had to work!! Aunt Tina and Cousin Cody was over to join in the Halloween fun!!

An Update & More Pictures

The girls are doing great. Kara Jean has surprised us all this week by becoming POTTY TRAINED!!!! She does both sides of the business in the potty, and is even removing her diaper to use the rest room vs. using her diaper. And last night twice she woke up to tell us she had to pee pee, she did and went straight back to bed. With the same dry diaper. Jenna is working hard at homeschooling, and really has impressed me with her ability to sound out words. Here are a few more pictures we took tonight!

She got her first six string...

Jenna had a great birthday party at her mamaw and papaw's house on Sunday. She got lots of great gifts...my best friend Kristen bought Jenna a learners guitar to strum on, shes already written a song called "Come back to me Guitar" but here are a few pictures of her I took this morning, I am going to try to get a video of her singing later on when she gets back home from Grammy & Papa's! I have had a cold since the day of her party; but will post her six year old post along with her six year old pictures once I am feeling better!! :)

Its July

Here are a few pictures from last night when we spent some much enjoyed time with the Kahlers.

We had so much fun with the slip and slide (which the adults used more than the children..but I refuse to post those pictures) then we had a great cook out and visiting then the girls had their first experience with sprinklers..

oh how times have changed..they have come along way from when I was little and it was just simply a metal stick...

.Then from the comforts from Kristen and Chris's driveway we were able to watch some incredible fireworks.. Kara and James sat on the car (with the adults right next to them..no child could have been injured in the following pictures) and here are my favorite 2 of the night!!




I hope everyone was able to enjoy the Fourth of July holiday as we were...Now that the fourth has officially passed its a countdown to Jenna's sixth Birthday.
